Commodity Trading

Commodity Transactions can be prohibitive for some importers when complex Letters of Credit must be given to exporters. Not only do the Letters of Credit require collateral, but they also require issuance and banking fees. 

Using our Plaid integrated platform, importers can simply link their bank account and block funds for the duration of the trade. West Ridge Escrow can then deduct fees required by the exporter, as the transaction happens in real time. Using this system, on average we save our clients 3% to 5% per transaction.
